The President of Indonesia and Prime Minister of Norway are co-sponsoring the Global Inter-Media Dialogue, Bali, Indonesia, 1-2 September. - Together we share a common goal to contribute to bridging gaps between different religions, cultures and peoples. Read more

In May 2006, Indonesian media actors and journalists met with their Norwegian counterparts to identify the issues and points of departure for discussions at the Dialogue, which is to be held in Bali 1-2 September this year. Read more

On the 2-3 February 2007 a planning session for the Second Global Inter-Media Dialogue took place in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The participants were international, Indonesian and Norwegian journalists and government officials.   Read more

The Dialogue between Indonesia and Norway was initiated in 2002. It consists of political consultations, an annual dialogue meeting and an increasing number of activities focused on human rights. Read more

Human rights dialogues are means to increase respect for and compliance with international human rights norms in countries that express a willingness to improve their human rights situation. Read more
